Paris, France – Performance Vision recently announced the worldwide release of the Micro Capture Appliance that extends wire-data analytics to small and medium-sized remote sites.

According to COO Boris Rogier, « Our customers have focused their wire-data analytics implementation on data center locations to get the widest possible application performance visibility for their investment. In parallel, Performance Vision saw an increase in requests to extend this visibility to end-user sites, including relatively small but strategic locations in a way that is both easy to implement and economically viable”, said Boris Rogier, COO of Performance Vision.

Cost-effective, centrally managed and easy to implement

“The foundations of Performance Vision now make it possible for us to deliver a great solution to our customer’s challenges” said Thibault Bouchette, CTO of Performance Vision.

“This new Micro Capture Appliance is touted to increase Performance Vision’s ability to:

  • Manage tens of capture appliances through a Web User Interface  including updates, upgrades and configuration,
  • Centralize the data by the capture devices into a single repository, which provides both an extensive set of performance analytics and almost no impact on the network capacity to centralize the data,
  • Have this highly scalable capture engine into a hardware device that is highly portable and weighs a little over 1kg,
  • Provide a very accessible solution from an economic standpoint.”

Even though the outstanding capabilities of Performance Vision in terms of network and application performance management have already been proven, this appliance will resolve the challenges of IT teams running complex environments and handling a large variety of applications (Web, File transfer, Databases, Citrix, etc.) in several sites.

“We are committed to introducing new products and expanding our solutions to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs,” said CTO Thibault Bouchette.
